[EMDR Therapy] Bookings Open. I work with young adults navigating trauma, identity, self-criticism, and the many challenges that life can bring. As a newcomer to Canada, I grasp the intricacies of finding belonging and defining identity. I also understand how challenging vulnerability can feel, especially when opening up to others hasn’t always felt safe. With a warm and compassionate approach, I aim to reconnect clients with their own strengths, self-understanding, and capacity to grow.
With a Master’s of Social Work, I ground my practice in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I support clients in processing what’s happened to them while also exploring who they are beyond it. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive. I welcome all parts of you to show up in our work together.
Whether you’re moving through something recent or unpacking a longer-held wound, I’ll meet you with curiosity, respect, and care. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating but a place to feel seen, challenged gently, and supported deeply.
Alicia has completed EMDR Basic Training and Internal Family Systems (IFS) - Informed EMDR.
Alicia takes appointments Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, daytime, with some appointments open to 6:00pm.

[EMDR Therapy] Bookings Open. t can take a lot of courage to look into counselling, and I’m honoured you’ve considered inviting me to be part of your journey.
I deeply believe that no matter what we’ve navigated in life, we each have incredible resiliency, innate wisdom, and capacity to heal. To live a life that’s more peaceful and meaningful. Trauma and life stressors can get stuck in our nervous system, blocking this healing and preventing us from living our lives fully. I approach counselling by starting wherever you are, at this moment, and together we find a way through. With a heart-centred, gentle, emotionally safe, trauma-sensitive and non-judgemental approach, together we’ll lift what’s holding you back and shift to access your wisdom and build growth.
I’m a Registered Social Worker practicing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapies as my primary method. I completed a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University (Ontario), EMDR Basic Training with Sue Genest (Life Journeys Counseling), EMDR Child Specialist Intensive training with Ana Gomez (Agate Institute), and Internal Family Systems Level 1 Training with the IFS Institute. I’m also currently training in EMDR for Grief and Loss, complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (c-PTSD), attachment wounding and the Integration of EMDR with IFS Therapies.
As a social worker of 20+ years in not-for-profit and government funded settings, I’ve witnessed and supported many people navigating significant life changes and transitions. Individuals with emotional pain, and lack of self-compassion and purpose.
When I’m not counselling clients, I work in the field of adoptions with birth parents and adoptive parents. This work connects me to people who have navigated grief & loss, infertility, attachment wounds, shame, trauma and multiple losses/gaps of identity.
As a mom of two (a tween and a teen) I’m also learning every day. Parenting and watching them grow and become their own people is a humbling and great privilege. It’s also the hardest training I’ve had to date! When I’m not driving my kids to their activities, I’m often listening to and making music with my husband, hanging out with friends & family, camping & being in nature, listening to podcasts and reading, or walking our crazy but loveable dog Asher.
It’s an honour to support you on your healing path, to witness and help you to see your innate beauty and wisdom as you reclaim your authentic self and find more peace and meaning in your life.
My main modalities are EMDR and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Janice takes appointments Tuesday and Thursday afternoons / evenings, and Fridays

[EMDR Therapy] Bookings Open. If you’ve navigated trauma—whether a singular event or layers of adversity—you’ve already shown immense courage. I’m a Registered Social Worker and EMDR trained therapist, holding a deep commitment to supporting individuals healing from trauma and complex PTSD. Together we’ll create a route in healing that honours your story.
I strive to make you feel accepted and cared for every step of the way, helping you feel seen, safe, and ready to move forward. My primary therapeutic modality includes the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), which you can expect to be the foundation of our therapeutic work together.
I hold Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Social Work, specializing in Clinical Therapeutic Practice, and I’m a Registered Social Worker with the BCCSW. I use an attachment-based approach, integrating principles from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to support healing and foster resilience.
Outside of the office I’m often deep in the backcountry, off the grid. Growing up on Vancouver Island, I’ve always enjoyed grounding myself in the mountains (more after choosing mountain biking a favourite hobby). In the stillness of the mountains and on my own journey of healing, I’ve come to see how the human experience of overcoming adversity mirrors the challenge of summiting a peak.
Through my personal path and the stories I’ve had the honour to witness, I learn there is profound strength in cultivating self-compassion and determination. If you’re looking for support, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you navigate your own ascent toward healing and growth.
Bryanna takes appointments on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I strive to provide a compassionate and healing space to get to know each of my clients and their individual situations. I can use my professional skills and experience to help me understand how I can support you to attain your personal goals.

Together we can decide the best approach for you moving forward.
For Couples: If your relationship is struggling and it seems that when you do try to connect with each other, old arguments arise and the same cycle repeats and ultimately it feels like you are getting further apart, I can help you navigate this and reconnect.
