**Bookings Open ** Janice is a Registered Social Worker with a Masters in social work and more than 20 years of experience. She provides a warm and supportive space for adult clients navigating overwhelm from life, grief, loss, isolation, and more. Many clients come to Janice feeling stuck, exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure why they can’t move forward despite “doing everything right.”

We each have incredible resilience, innate wisdom, and capacity to heal. If you’ve been feeling chronic stress, burn-out, disconnected, or carrying grief, shame, or guilt that won’t lift, you’re not alone — and it’s not a permanent state. Trauma and life stressors can get stuck in our nervous system, blocking our natural healing and preventing us from living fully even if life looks fine on the outside.

Janice focuses on resolving concerns with chronic stress and burnout, grief and loss (including infertility), and patterns that often trace back to early family dynamics and relationships. This can manifest as difficulty trusting others, fear of abandonment, pushing people away, feeling anxious or “too much” in close relationships. Janice also supports clients struggling with feelings of isolation or displacement, shame, guilt, and a lack of self-compassion or sense of purpose.

Janice uses EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems) as her primary modalities. Her approach is to begin where you are, working together to find a way through. With a heart-centred, gentle, emotionally safe, trauma-sensitive, and non-judgemental approach, you’ll work collaboratively to release what’s been holding you back, reconnect with your own wisdom, and build sustainable growth.

With over 20 years as a social worker in not-for-profit and government-funded settings, Janice has supported many people through significant life transitions, emotional pain, and the loss of self-compassion and purpose that so often comes with it. Outside the therapy room, Janice has a full life as a mom of two and partner. She loves being in nature, listening to podcasts, and taking walks with her family & their dog.

Janice takes appointments Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays
